Our Journey
In 2018, Michael Reese began a new chapter as a philanthropic organization when we became a public charity. Today, we are grateful to partner with a growing number of donors who support our work.

Honor and Memorial Gifts
Honor your family, friends, or loved ones by making a donation online. Use the comment section of the donation form (or include a note with your check) to tell us the details of your gift. A note can be sent to the family or individual notifying them of your gift with a personalized message.
Legacy Fund
The Legacy Fund was created by and for people connected to Michael Reese Hospital through birth, family, education, career and community ties. Legacy Fund members keep the hospital’s remarkable spirit alive while making future accomplishments possible through supporting the foundation’s programs and priorities. Herb Wander Emergency Fund
Herb Wander served as Michael Reese's board chair for 11 years. In his honor, Herb's family established the Herb Wander Emergency Fund to support emergencies and crises in the Jewish Community.
Special Funds and Perpetual Trusts
Generations of philanthropists helped build and support Michael Reese Hospital through lasting gifts to Michael Reese Hospital Foundation, Michael Reese Second Century Foundation and Michael Reese Health Plan Foundation.
